Undeclared at GSB
Undeclared? We know that not every student arrives with a specific area of focus in mind. That's why we make it easy for you to explore the many majors within GSB before you choose what sparks your passion.
We consider students who have decided on business careers, but are not quite certain exactly where the path might take them, to be “exploratory.” We offer a host of resources to assist in this important journey, including:
- Bloomberg Businessweek self-assessment exercises, which have been developed by the most talented business faculty in the world, in partnership with global business practitioners.
- A robust program of advising led by our expert business faculty.
- Career explorations through the RWU Center for Career & Professional Development.
- A first-year course, Enterprise, that is required of all business majors, declared or not, that covers multiple business challenges. It even allows you to develop a plan to launch your own business.
With decades of experience launching students on business careers that range from analytics to risk management to the art and science of leading successful organizations, GSB is well positioned to work with you on choosing a major to make it informative, fun and closely linked to your professional and personal goals.
