Professor Margaret Thombs, Ph.D. teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in technology and supervises student teachers. Dr. Thombs holds a BA in Mathematics from Assumption College, an M.ED in Mathematics from Worcester State, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from NSU. Her areas of specialization are technology applications for second language acquisition, technology facilitated international classroom partnerships, university/school district partnerships, and technology integration to facilitate inquiry based learning. She is the author of WebQuests in the Social Studies Classroom: A Culturally Responsive Approach (Corwin Press 2008) and is a frequent presenter at regional and national education conferences.
