The F.I.L.L.

The Faculty Innovation & Learning Lab (FILL) is a dedicated faculty space located in the University Library that provides a quiet location for faculty to work on course development and explore new tools with the ID&T team close at hand.

The lab contains:

  • Two computer workstations – one Windows and one Mac
  • HD Web Camera
  • Microphone
  • Two Color Printers
  • Powerful Video Editing Station
  • Lightboard
  • 3D Printer
  • 3D Pen

There is also a small conference table with a wall-mounted screen along with power and data options for laptops and tablets. These resources will allow for individual and small group consultation and learning sessions with the ID&T team.

In addition to standardized software applications, the FILL space provides a range of specialized software to enhance teaching and learning.

The FILL is available for faculty use anytime the building is open and assistance is available from the ID&T staff. Help is also available by contacting a member of the CSALT2 Department of Instructional Design & Technologies team. These team members are Shawn Platt (x3001), and Kevin O'Rourke (x3637)
