R.I.C.E. Career Fair
What is R.I.C.E.?

The Rhode Island Consortium for Educators (RICE) is an association of Rhode Island colleges and universities (Brown University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, and University of Rhode Island), formed to help you develop contacts for jobs in education. The RICE Job Fair brings hiring professionals from school districts nationwide to our area to interview qualified candidates. The majority of these are public school systems. If you are limited geographically, you should check to see what schools systems are coming and how this fits with your job search flexibility. While RICE does not guarantee job placement, you will be afforded the opportunity to schedule interviews with recruiters, based upon their certification requirements and anticipated hiring needs.

Who should attend R.I.C.E.?

The RICE fair is open to students graduating from participating member schools. Recent alums may also register, but must first check with their school representative. To find out what kinds of specialties are being sought, just check out the above website for anticipated vacancies. If you are interested in working in education, you should check it out.
