The Housing Office recognizes that residence hall living is an integral part of the total educational package at RWU. Living in University Housing is a unique opportunity; it is more than a place to sleep. There are opportunities to expand your personal horizons through involvement in numerous academic, social, educational, leadership, cultural and recreational programs.
Living in the residence halls adds to your educational success and your overall experience at the University.
One of the many important decisions you must make several times while at the University is where you will live. There are many worthwhile options to choose from during your student years.
For your convenience, the Housing Placement Forms are available on-line, after the first week in April. You can access the form though, the “myRWU” link on the bottom of the University's main web site located at: http://www.rwu.edu.
Once you have submitted both an admissions and housing deposit, you will receive a letter with instructions on how to access myRWU to complete your Housing Placement Forms. You can expect to receive your letter by the second week of April.
Once you have access to myRWU and have successfully logging on, select the “Services” tab located at the top right of the page. You will then notice the “Roommate Preference” link at the bottom left of the page under the Residence Life heading. Please follow the instructions on the website to ensure proper completion and submission of the Housing Placement Form. Questions can be directed to the following email address, rwuhousing@rwu.edu>
You are probably approaching this time with both excitement and apprehension. There is justification for both feelings. The Housing Office believes that your living experience should be an enjoyable one and we look forward to assisting you to make it that way. We will be working hard over the summer to meet your preferences.
Assignment letters will be mailed during the first week in August. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Student Life at (401) 254-3161, or e-mail us at:
rwuhousing@rwu.edu
We look forward to greeting you in the fall.
Sincerely,
Tony Montefusco
Director of Housing
