The University offers housing options for a variety of preference and lifestyles—from individual units to coed residence halls. The halls are fully wired for Internet access, and many feature lounges, study rooms, air conditioning and reserved space for students with special needs or interests.
Four of our on-campus halls overlook the waters of Mount Hope Bay and feature spectacular in-room views. Roger Williams also offers off-campus housing in a supervised environment via the University-operated Almeida Apartments and at Baypoint, just 2 miles from campus.
The Roger Williams Student Affairs Office supervises a staff of trained resident assistants and residence education coordinators to help establish and enforce the policies governing dorm living. Resident assistants serve as unit leaders, disciplinarians, program facilitators and student advocates. This approach promotes and facilitates self-government, self-discipline and the acceptance of adult responsibility.
Whatever your preference, the University has a facility to match, and from the minute you settle in your dorm, you will start to feel at home.
