About
Student Program

The Orientation program is designed to acclimate new students to Roger Williams University. Throughout the two days you will be given an overview of the University, academic and community expectations will be shared, and you will be introduced to the people who will shape your experience at RWU.

During Orientation you will:
  • learn more about your major course of study
  • meet faculty and discuss your fall schedule
  • register for classes
  • get tips on succeeding academically
  • hear about the service learning requirement
  • find out about getting actively involved on campus and gaining leadership experience
  • learn about campus policies
  • hear about campus traditions and events
  • learn about important student services, and
  • get valuable advice on making a successful transition to RWU

The Orientation program is meant to help you feel more comfortable about begining your education at RWU. All we ask is that you arrive ready to participate and meet new people. We hope you will get to meet a lot of your new classmates and have a great time too!
