The Orientation program is designed to acclimate new students to Roger Williams University. Throughout the two days you will be given an overview of the University, academic and community expectations will be shared, and you will be introduced to the people who will shape your experience at RWU.
During Orientation you will:
- learn more about your major course of study
- meet faculty and discuss your fall schedule
- register for classes
- get tips on succeeding academically
- hear about the service learning requirement
- find out about getting actively involved on campus and gaining leadership experience
- learn about campus policies
- hear about campus traditions and events
- learn about important student services, and
- get valuable advice on making a successful transition to RWU
The Orientation program is meant to help you feel more comfortable about beginning your education at RWU.
We ask is that you arrive ready to actively participate in the Orientation program and take the opportunity to meet new people. We know you will learn a lot and have a great time, too!
