About

What will your first semester of college at RWU be like?
You are starting a new chapter in your life - meeting new friends, making a new home for yourself, and launching an exciting academic career. There are so many opportunities awaiting you both in and out of the classroom, and our Orientation Program is designed to introduce you to them.

Whether you start this fall semester as a freshmen or a transfer student, we expect that you and your family will have many questions about your first semester at Roger Williams University (RWU), and the Orientation Program will help answer them.

At Orientation, you and your fellow classmates will be introduced to the University by other RWU students, who serve as Orientation Advisors. They will lead you through the program, answer your questions, and help you make the most of your short time here over the summer.

You will also be learning about your acadmic programs, registering for classes, and participating in fun activities that will help you get to know other new students and the campus community.

Your family/guests will learn about academic expectations, campus resources, and meet the University community members who will assist you during your time at the University.  We encourage family members to attend Orientation to gain a better understanding of the RWU community and what lies ahead for you.
