What will your first semester of college at RWU be like?
You are starting a new chapter in your life - meeting new friends, making a new home for yourself, and launching an exciting academic career. There are so many opportunities awaiting you both in and out of the classroom, and our Orientation Program is designed to introduce you to them.
Whether you start this spring semester as a freshmen or a transfer student, we expect that you and your family will have many questions about your first semester at Roger Williams, and the Orientation Program will help answer them.
At Orientation, you and your fellow classmates will be introduced to the University by other Roger Williams students, who serve as Orientation Advisors. They will lead you through the program, answer your questions, and help you make the most of what Roger Williams has to offer.
At the same time, you will be busy taking placement tests, registering for classes, and participating in fun activities that will help you get to know other new students and the campus community.
Families will learn about academic expectations, campus resources, and meet the University community members who will assist students during their time at the University. We encourage family members to attend orientation to gain a better understanding of the Roger Williams community and what lies ahead for their student.
