SAFE, formerly known as Rainbow Alliance began in February of 2003. The name SAFE stood for Sexuality Advocacy for Everyone, but the group currently would like to remain SAFE.

Mission Statement

SAFE is a group developed and dedicated to creating a safe zone where all students can feel comfortable whether they identify themselves as gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, or transgender.

Our purpose is to create a safe environment through awareness and programming and to create, acknowledge and celebrate diversity and respect where any student can feel safe in discussing any issue. We support diversity regardless of age, background, gender, race, religion, sex and/or sexual orientation.

Meeting times change by semester according to the members' schedules.
