In today’s increasingly diverse workplace, employee differences can be both a source of frustration and energy. Particularly in the field of law enforcement, those differences based on age and experience can be difficult to manage. What are the general characteristics of our employees that may be based on their age and experiences? How do we learn to recognize and deal with these characteristics? What are some strategies that we can employ to make these differences work for our organization? This course focuses on viewing employees of different generations not as problems, but as leadership challenges that can improve our organizations and enhance our mission.

This program is hosted by the Glastonbury CT Police Department and is presented by the Roger Williams University - Justice System Training & Research Institute in partnership with the New England Association of Chiefs of Police, Inc.
