The Community Partnerships Center at Roger Williams University delivers project-based design and preservation services to organizations and municipalities in local and regional communities. These community partnerships broaden and deepen the academic experiences of RWU students by allowing them to work on real-world projects, collaborating with residents and citizens.
Student will assist the staff at the Community Partnerships Center with various tasks throughout the academic year, including, but not limited to; writing, copy editing, data entry and management, event assistance, office support some photography, and other duties as assigned.
Student should be entering their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior years. Student should have experience in writing, editing, event planning and management, database creation and management, and general organizational office skills. Students should have a positive attitude and be comfortable working in both independent and team settings. Students should be comfortable working in a professional setting and be able to adhere to guidelines and schedules. Students should have strong written and oral communication skills, be well organized, and work well in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
