Primary duties will include providing administrative assistance to the entire office to include: greeting guests and assisting other students and alumni, answering and placing phone calls, taking detailed messages, maintaining databases and files, scheduling appointments, and running on-campus errands. Students will also do special projects as directed, which may include assisting with details relating to Career Center programming efforts (marketing and reporting) or assisting with tasks relating to the Co-op/Internship Program. Students are expected to work collaboratively and professionally with staff and peers, seek out assignments when tasks are completed, and find a replacement if unable to work a scheduled shift. Please note that completing homework assignments while at work in this fast-paced environment is highly discouraged.
