The Department of Marketing and Communication is seeking a video production/editor for the fall semester. This candidate would be primarily responsible for collecting and editing short videos for internal and external marketing purposes. Someone who is creative and has social media savvy is preferred. Candidate would also communicate with faculty, staff and students to schedule appointments and/or discuss marketing campaign and reason for shoot. The work hours and schedule are flexible - we can accommodate the right student's schedule.
Set up back drops and equipment
Collect short video clips, primarily on campus
Editing clips down to :05 - 2 minutes
Film faculty, staff and students
Watch for social media trends
Assist in planning/coordinating marketing campaigns
Other office duties as assigned, answering the department telephone, on campus deliveries and filing.
