Whether you’re coming to attend a Roger Williams press conference, cover a presentation by one of our guest speakers or interview or photograph a student or professor, the Office of Public Affairs will make every effort to assist you in getting what you need. We do, however, have certain guidelines on media visits to campus.
Campus Visits Policy for the Media
Members of the media (print, broadcast, digital or online) are urged to contact the Office of Public Affairs, by phone or e-mail, in advance of any visit to our campus or other University-owned building. Roger Williams is a private institution, and access to its property and facilities is permitted only with permission of the Office of Public Affairs.
Members of the media are urged to use the University’s main entrance, on Old Ferry Road and located between the Law School and School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation, and stop at the gatehouse. There, the Public Safety officer will direct you to the parking area and immediately notify Public Affairs of your arrival. A staff member of Public Affairs will meet you at your vehicle and can then escort you to the appropriate destination.
