Peter Wilbur
Vice President of Development, Alumni Affairs, and Government Relations

In 1999, Peter Wilbur assumed the role of associate vice president for finance and administration, coming to Roger Williams after serving as president of the Katherine Gibbs School in Providence, R.I. Mr. Wilbur earned a promotion to his current position in 2007; he oversees the University’s current strategic planning process and directs community relations efforts. In addition, he serves as senior executive to President Nirschel, representing the President on a variety of initiatives.
Mr. Wilbur earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and recently completed his master’s of public administration degree at Roger Williams. He is a member of the American Society for Public Administration and serves as the vice chair of the Exeter, R.I., Fire District while he’s not at the University.
