Deborah Huntsman
Assistant Provost, Continuing and Professional Studies

Deborah Huntsman joined the University in 2006, coming from the University of Connecticut, where she held the position of executive director of professional studies in the College of Continuing Studies. She previously held positions at the University of Hartford and Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Ms. Huntsman brings more than 30 years experience in continuing higher education to Roger Williams.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Huntsman has received a number of creative programming awards for her work from the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA) and was the recipient of UCEA New England Outstanding Professional Educator Award. She has also served on the UCEA Board of Directors.
