Roger Williams Students Ready to Show Off Talents in Variety Show
BRISTOL, R.I., March 2008 – Are you addicted to NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”? Then come experience, firsthand, an evening filled with talent at Roger Williams University’s variety show, “Happy Hour: A Double Shot,” scheduled for early April.

Run entirely by RWU students, the lively variety show will feature an array of performances by students including improvisation, singing, acting, dancing and comedy.

“It’s similar to a talent show, but without having to prove your talent,” said Karl Pelletier, senior theater major and president of the stage company at Roger Williams. “The kids are already talented, now they just get to show it off.”

Performances will run Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, at 8 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center located on the University’s Bristol campus at One Old Ferry Road.

Tickets cost $5 for general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Performing Arts Center at (401) 254-3626.
