Boys and Girls Basketball Summer Camp Offered at Roger Williams
BRISTOL, R.I., July 2008 – Do your kids love basketball, but want to know how to improve their game? For kids who are eager to improve their dribbling or defense, parents can register them for the Mike Tully Basketball Camp for Boys and Girls to be held at Roger Williams University.

The program runs from Monday, July 21, to Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Children ages 7 to 15 may register. During the week, children will play multiple games each day, participate in a “beat the coaches” contest and practice dribbling, shooting, individual defense, passing, rebounding and take-home drills. Experienced staff and a certified athletic trainer will be on hand throughout the program.

Camp director Mike Tully has served as the head men’s basketball coach and assistant athletic director at Roger Williams University since 2002. Previously, he served as the head men’s basketball coach and athletic director at Newbury College and as assistant coach at Salem State College.

Cost for the camp is $200, which includes a camp t-shirt. Registrants should bring gym clothing, a towel and a sack lunch. The camp will be held in the Recreation Center on the Roger Williams University’s Bristol campus located at One Old Ferry Road.
