Corporate & Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations acts as the central clearinghouse on behalf of the University for all requests for external funding from private foundations, corporations and government agencies.  This point is essential to ensure the necessary administrative approvals, protect the University's interests, and to maintain strategic stewardship for on-going relationship development.

Our office oversees the University's policies and procedures related to grant activities, contracts and corporate gifts.  We offer assistance to deans, faculty and staff in developing grant proposals and budgets on behalf of the University, as well as help locating potential funding sources.

Examples of funded projects might include faculty or student research, program development, technology enhancements, curriculum development, capital improvements to the campus, or programs that serve the needs of the Roger Williams University community.

Faculty and staff may find our Grant Resource Center useful.  It lists the University's policies and procedures regarding seeking external funding, provides assistance with proposal development, funding research and other useful links.

Local businesses and corporations are especially invited to review our Corporate Partners Program to learn about developing long term strategic relationships with the University.
