Starting in 2008-2009, RWU will be sending it's champions from Outdoor Soccer, Flag Football, Indoor Volleyball, 5 v 5 Basketball and Softball to compete against other championship teams from Brown University, Providence College, URI, Bryant University and Salve Regina University on select dates throughout the school year.  Points will be tallied throughout the year based on how each institution's teams fared in each competition.  The school with the most points at the end of all competitions will be awarded the Rhode Island Intramurals "Quahog Cup" for the following year.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to participate at such competitions, participants must be full-time RWU students and participate in the Intramural Sports program.

Regional Competitions

Participants who are interested in representing RWU Intramurals at a regional competition must submit a letter of interest to the Coordinator of Intramurals and Recreation. If approved, some expenses may be covered by the Intramural Program, but participants should anticipate some additional costs. Final decision on participant eligibility, travel arrangements and subsidization are made by the Coordinator of Intramurals and Recreation.
