If you have completed an associate degree at the time of applying, you are not required to submit your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores.

If you have not completed an associate degree at the time of applying, you are required to submit high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores.

Roger Williams University is a participating member of The Common Application. Students may download or complete the application electronically.

  • Complete all questions that apply to you.

  • Provide your social security number on the application.

  • Indicate your intended major. *Check one major only, unless otherwise (specifically) noted. Education majors must refer to the instructions under Program-Specific Application Requirements in Section III.

  • Submit a 250-500 word essay on a topic of your choice.

  • Have a transcript sent from every college or university you have attended.  If you are currently in your first semester, please submit a letter from your school official stating your are currently enrolled at the college/university you are attending.  This will be required in place of your college/university transcript.

  • Have your high school transcript sent (if applicable).

  • Have your midsemester grades sent from your current semester in progress if you have less than 24 completed credits. 

  • Send all program-specific materials outlined in the complete applications instructions.

  • Please send copies of course descriptions or syllabi of all courses you have taken. You may also send the academic catalog from every college you have attended.

  • Submit the non-refundable application fee of $50.00.

*Checking more than one major will delay the processing of your application. If you would like to double-major, you may declare a second major after you have matriculated.
