Instructional Design and Technology Assistant

Special Skills Needed:
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe applications, web and multimedia development is a plus. Since this position will require interaction with faculty, good interpersonal communication skills are necessary, including the ability to listen and reflect user concerns, good written and verbal communication skills. Must be dependable and willing to learn.
 
Job Description:
Responsibilities include work with the Instructional Design staff to promote instructional technology across the University through web and print content and to provide assistance to faculty through the Instructional Technology Development Center (ITDC) in the University Library. Tasks may include assistance with creation of multi-media training materials and course content for classroom or web-based delivery, classroom presentations with PowerPoint, course web sites, and Blackboard.
