As part of comprehensive financial aid packaging, Roger Williams University offers merit-based scholarships to transfer students. All scholarships are awarded based on academic merit. Every student is reviewed for eligibility through the admission process. Transfer Scholarships range from $7,000-10,000.  Applicants with cumulative GPAs starting at 2.75 will be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships are granted for three consecutive years  and students must maintain a minimum GPA relative to their award to retain scholarship eligibility.

For Transfer Students Holding an Associate Degree

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship $7,000 yearly Awarded to Phi Theta Kappa scholars holding an associate degree who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5. Recipients must enroll in the University full-time and maintain the required GPA. This award is renewable and may be awarded for a total of two years. Presidential Transfer Scholarship $6,000 yearly Awarded to students holding an associate degree who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.6. Recipients must enroll in the University full-time and maintain the required GPA. This award is renewable and may be awarded for a total of two years.

For All Other Transfer Students

Transfer Achievement Award $8,000 yearly Awarded to select students transferring from a four year accredited institution with a minimum of 24 college credits. A minimum GPA of 3.3 is required for consideration. Dean's Transfer Scholarship $4,000 yearly awarded to students who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients must enroll in the University full-time and maintain the required GPA. This award is renewable and may be awarded for a total of two years.
