Although she had already decided on RWU, Kathleen was so eager to get to campus that she persuaded her parents to come for four different campus tours in the summer before her freshman year! Her enthusiasm didn't wane a bit during her four years, and Kathleen became the Promotions Director for WQRI radio, an assistant in the University’s Career Center, a writer for the Hawk’s Herald campus newspaper and even managed to study abroad in Australia during her junior year. A Communications major, Kathleen explored both the public relations and journalism tracks within her program. She tackled real-world promotions projects during internships at WROR radio, WCVB Boston and WPRI and scaled wind turbines for her Newswriting & Reporting class. Kathleen challenged herself both in and out of the classroom. What will you do?
