DJ is fixture on campus. The 4+1 BS/MS Historic Preservation student is in his final year at the University. He has been a Resident Assistant, a member of the cross country team, president of the Historic Preservation Society and a Mr. RWU contestant. Despite his hectic schedule, DJ was able to take on a summer internship at Montauk Point Lighthouse, and lead the HP Society in community service events. He still has some big plans before leaving campus. DJ is currently working on his final thesis which looks at the adaptive reuse of WWII fire control stations, is collaborating with the city of Providence on a Main Street Project through the Community Parternship Center and is talking with President Farish about the original identity of RWU's campus, and how we can honor it. DJ is paying homage to history.

Interests: A classically trained actor and Director, I have directed theatre and film for many years. Most recently I directed a production of “Cabaret” and won three honors in the 48 Hour Film Project, Providence for our film, “Sole Mates.” St. Louis Cardinals. Go Redbirds!
Favorite RWU tradition or event: the anti-genocide student club, STAND, created dynamic demonstration in which they covered one of the quads in construction flags, each of which represented the 400,000 live lost to genocide in Darfur.
