Special Skills Needed:
Must be tech savvy, knowledgeable with social media platforms, web content management, software applications and internet research.  Strong writing, editing and photography skills required.

Job Description:
The Roger Williams University Community Partnerships Center (CPC) delivers project-based, trans-disciplinary services to organizations and communities in RI and Southeastern Massachusetts. These community partnerships broaden and deepen the academic experiences of RWU students by allowing them to work on real-world projects, collaborating with residents and citizens.  CPC projects are transdisciplinary and to bring in components of our environmental, construction management, engineering and history programs and may others, as well as the RWU School of Law.

Specific tasks for this position will include:

  • Assist in developing & maintain a social media strategy for the CPC.
  • Create and manage CPC Facebook page.
  • Assist in expanding existing CPC website
  • Assist in creation of digital communications. 
  • Publicize CPC events through digital media.
  • Catalog and upload photos to social media platforms.
  • Research Community Partnership/Engagement Centers for best practices relating to digital messaging and programming. 
  • Assist with research and development of stories, including interviews and testimonials for publishing to social media, website and other digital platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Academic Majors Preferred: 
Marketing/Communications/Graphic Design/Journalism/Computer Info Systems
