Aquarium Research Assistants
Special Skills Needed:
Strong interest in learning about marine science, willingness to work hard, sometimes in wet, unfavorable conditions, ability to take initiative and work independently, willingness to work morning shifts a plus.
We are also looking for engineering and computer science students to help develop more capable systems. We are upgrading the laboratories systems and will be looking to develop data platforms to monitor water quality and schedules.
Job Description (flexible depending on student’s experience):
-Assist with daily maintenance of the marine lab
-Learn proper aquatic animal husbandry techniques
-Provide daily care to the organisms in the lab
-Some weekend shifts requires
