  1. Talk to a education counselor in the Navy College Office or visit the Navy College Program website.

  2. Have your SMART transcript sent to Roger Williams University. For prior Navy applicants 
          - send us a copy of your DD Form 214.
     
  3. Have official CLEP, DSST, ECE, ASE, APP professional certification score reports sent directly to Roger Williams University. Evaluate your military service credit and how close you are to completing a degree.
     
  4. Complete our Application for Admission. (fee waived for military students)

  5. Talk to a counselor at Roger Williams University. Continuous advisement is available throughout the year, and the advisement process establishes a working relationship between each student and a personal advisor. Once you complete admissions, required testing, and all transfer credit documentation is received, your counselor will complete a degree plan for you.
     
  6. Select and register for your courses. In order to register for classes, it is necessary for students to contact their advisors. Although online registration is available, advisor contact is essential to process student registration.

  9. Graduation Requirements. Students may be awarded up to 90 credits towards their degree using transfer credit, military training credit, CLEP and other tests, and credit for past life and work experience. Still in all cases, students are required to successfully complete a minimum of 30 semester hours in general education for a bachelor degree program, or 15 semester hours for an associate degree program.
