Apply to Become a Student Advocate

If you would like to get involved as a student leader at Roger Williams University, consider becoming a Student Advocate! Student Advocates work as a team to ensure the academic success of every Roger Williams student. Benefits include a $500 stipend per semester on your Unicard, leadership development, peer mentoring first year students, the opportunity to teach in the First Year Seminar, and establishing professional relationships with faculty and staff.

In order to apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Have at least sophomore status when you begin working
  2. No significant judicial history
  3. Thorough knowledge of campus resources and departments
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Two recommendations from either a teacher or employer
