At Roger Williams you’ll be provided with the support you need to facilitate growth and success in all areas of your University life—especially your academic one. Need help formulating ideas for that research paper? Make an appointment at the Writing Center. Want to find a suitable internship or revise with your resume? Visit the Career Center. Having trouble with that calculus proof? Stop by the Math Center.
These are just a few of the tools and services offered. Others include:
- Three separate University Libraries are staffed by helpful knowledge-management professionals and provide research, study and computer space for general and specialized interests.
- The Center for Academic Development includes specialized tutoring centers that offer assistance by faculty and peers.
- At the Student Advocacy Office, you can learn about academic requirements and expectations, get help adjusting to campus life and find the right resources on campus to assist with anything.
- The Academic Computing Center provides access to a number of computing resources at no extra charge; the center’s friendly, knowledgeable staff is always there to assist you.
- The University offers academic support workshops on topics such as study techniques, time management and exam skills. Individual consultations are available, too.
- The Core Tutoring Center offers help specifically geared toward the five-course, interdisciplinary core curriculum taken your freshman and sophomore years.
