    Study Abroad

Central to Roger Williams University's mission is the belief that a complete college education today involves study abroad. Our message to students is simple: Go Global! Experience other cultures. Develop a global perspective. Carry the knowledge gained from study abroad into your life-long learning and careers, whatever path you may choose.

Roger Williams University offers a multitude of opportunities for students to build global perspective and capacities through first hand experience abroad. A myriad of program options are available to our students, spanning the globe. From shorter, faculty-led study abroad programs, to semester or year-long programs; from broad liberal arts to very focused discipline-specific curricula; students have a wide variety of topics, regions and styles of programs from which to choose.

Scores of Roger Williams students you see strolling to class are either just back from a year, semester or short-term program abroad -- or  are just about to leave for one. Right now, students are studying theater in London, arts and architecture in Florence, political science in Hong Kong and marine biology in Bermuda and Belize –- all programs that are directly sponsored by Roger Williams University. Others are immersed in affiliated programs in such places as Ireland, Spain, France, South Africa, Portugal, Turkey, Jordan, Australia, Chile and Mexico, to name a few.

And thanks to the University's innovative Passport to Your Future program, RWU picks up the passport application fees, postal service handling fees and passport photo fees, for all eligible sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

We invite you to explore the many options of Roger Williams University Study Abroad through the Center for Global and International Programs...
