The Honors Program

If you're an incoming freshman with a minimum GPA from high school of a 3.5/4.0 scale and have a minimum combined SAT Critical Reading and SAT Math score of 1250 or ACT Composite score of 28, you are invited to apply for our prestigious University Honors Program.

Designed for outstanding students at the University, this program provides challenging academic courses, research, and service opportunities that are designed to meet the intellectual aspirations of highly motivated and talented students.  Honors students are also eligible for housing with other members of the Honors community.

Working closely with the Honors faculty and Program Director, you'll develop an in-depth course of study that prepares you for a challenging senior research project. Honors students provide leadership for many University governance, athletic, and social programs, and you'll also benefit from a variety of regularly scheduled discussion groups, community service activities, and co-curricular events.

By rewarding scholarship, leadership, and service, the University Honors Program at Roger Williams University is a key example of the value placed by the institution on distinguished scholarship by its faculty and students.
