The student group also co-sponsors 4 blood drives per year with Pre-Med/Pre-Vet Club and the RI Blood Center. Therefore, twice a semester, volunteers are needed to help pass out drinks and snacks to blood donors in the Hawks Hangout.  On the October 11th & 12th, 2007 blood drive, the campus community donated a total of 159 units.
