Site Feedback

“This year’s (agency) orientation was a great improvement.  As was the plan for the agency reps. to meet the students at the site (instead of the RWU campus).  Having a professor present really helped keep my group motivated.  The orientation prompted me to “step it up” a notch by spending more time speaking with the students about Save the Bay and the environmental issues/saving Bristol harbor.  I hope the students enjoyed the experience as much as I did – I know we all worked our butts off during the clean-up!”

“The group leaders and students were exceptional and a joy to have.  Thank you for this program”
– East Providence Senior Center Staff

“We very much appreciated the help provided and the students were awesome.  Excellent advance planning on your part made for a very successful experience for our group.  We look forward to participating again next year.  The teams did excellent work with our staff.  They were very helpful.”
– Tiverton Open Space Commission

“The students accomplished many tasks and worked hard.  We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this fine program.”
– Gayle Lawrence, Tiverton Land Trust

“We were very pleased.  The students did more than was requested of them.  After they had completed the curbing, they began painting parking spaces which was an unexpected bonus.  The group leader was exceptionally polite.  It was a very good experience.”
– Claire Martins, Warren Housing Authority

“The kids were awesome.  We had a great time!  Your group leaders were so friendly and most organized.  It was a great experience for everyone.  Thanks so much.”
– Stephany Silvia, Franklin Court Independent Living

“We had a very positive experience working with the students and their leaders.  The students were very upbeat and ready and willing to do any task asked of them.  There was a lot of positive energy that could be felt within our environment… We look forward to being a part of the Community Partners program next year.”
– Cornerstone Adult Services

“This is a most worthwhile program.  It’s always a pleasure having these young adults visit and work with us.  We look forward to working next year and years to come.”
– USS Massachusetts Memorial Committee, Inc.

“I just want to say that the volunteers did a great job!!!  Thank you so much for all the help in painting our preschool.  All the parents were impressed on how “clean” the room looked.  Thank you again!”
– Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence/N. Providence Early Years Learning

“Love it!  The residents loved everyone and we would love to be a part of this program next year!  Thank you.”
– Robin Hannon, John Clark Retirement Center

“Our overall experience was very positive.  The students worked extremely hard even with all the heat of the day.  During our lunch break they were open and conversational with us and each other.  The 2 student leaders were very organized and tuned into the kids needs (water, rest breaks etc).  Even though we didn’t complete the task, we were very pleased with how much was accomplished that day.  We were very impressed with your students and Roger Williams University should be proud of each and every one of them.  Thank you for your help with our project and we look forward to next year.”
– Barrington Garden Club – Walker Farm Project

“Students were a pleasure to be around.  They were very willing workers…we would like to thank everyone involved for making the valuable program happen.”
-First Congregational Church

“We had another great experience with Community Connections!  We actually had two referrals that came from the pictures in the ProJo!  Thank you again for all of your efforts.  We are pleased to be a part of your program.”
