Community Connections
For Site Leaders
Hello Site Leaders!
I hope your summer is going well so far. Go to the beach and soak up the sun…..but be ready to lead about 1,200 freshmen to all of our local sites to volunteer on August 25th, 2008! So far, we have approximately 52 sites participating, and 139 site leaders!
My name is Roey Brocuglio, and I am one of the Community Connections Student Coordinators. I am a Senior Visual Arts and Elementary Education double major. I volunteer for the Autism Project of Rhode Island, Beacon Hospice, and am a member of the Student Volunteer Association and Scholarships for Service program. This will be my fourth year participating in Community Connections, so let’s make it fun! I will be sending you updates as we place you with sites. If you have any questions, please email me at service@rwu.edu.
Emily Chappell is an Orientation Advisor and a Student Coordinator as well, so be expecting more emails from us! I can’t wait to see all of you bright and early on the 25th of August. It is exciting to see all of you participating in community service and being involved on campus. You all serve as great role models for our incoming freshmen.
