Student Teaching

Student Teaching takes place over one full semester - at least 14 weeks.  As with Practicum, this is a supervised experience.  University Clinical Supervisors observe participants in their school settings, score their performance artifacts, and provide seminars to debrief.

Student Teaching Seminar
This course is designed to complement the student teaching experience and is a required component of that experience.  Students will explore the Rhode Island Professional Teaching Standards as they reflect upon their student teaching practice.

Completed applications for Student Teaching should be sent to  the School of Education.

The PDF files listed may require the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to be downloaded and installed.
