1. Student Pays Directly:
Tuition and fees may be paid at the time of In-Person registration or immediately after on-line registration. Tuition payments should be submitted or sent to the School of Continuing Studies Office in Providence. We also accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and check payments online only. There will be a convenience fee assessed to all online credit card payments. Students registering for Summer I and Summer III 2009 after June 1, 2009 must pay their tuition at the time of registration. Students registering for Summer II 2009 after July 1, 2009 must pay their tuition at the time of registration. Students registering for the Fall 2009 semester after August 1, 2009 must pay their tuition at the time of registration.
2. Student is Billed:
If preferred, a student may register and await a billing statement. RWU monthly billing statements represent the student's official balance according to entries posted in University records in the Office of the Bursar. Students may only utilize this option if registering for Summer I, II and II or for the Fall semester prior to the dates listed in option #1.
3. Student Uses Payment Plan:
Students who wish to make arrangements for an installment payment plan may call Tuition Management Systems (TMS), at (800) 722-4867. If registering in-person, please give your Advisor your TMS account number. All payments and applicable fees will be paid directly to TMS.
4. Student has a Third Party Billing Arrangement:
Students with tuition assistance or reimbursement programs from their employers, (e.g., military, municipalities, 3rd party payees) should inform their Advisors if registering in-person. Additionally, new students with such plans must also contact Brenda Coffey at the Office of the Bursar at (401) 254-3111, in order to determine if they are eligible for and establish a deferred tuition payment plan.
NOTE: Providence Police Officers must register in-person and must submit a signed Tuition Voucher before registration is processed. Military Students must submit a Tuition Assistance Form prior to the start of classes.
5. Financial Aid:
Students who are seeking financial aid are urged to call (401) 254-3100 to ensure that the Financial Aid Office has all of the documentation necessary to process your financial aid eligibility. This is a lengthy and time consuming process and should be initiated as soon as possible after January 1st for the next academic year. This process must be repeated each academic year that you are enrolled in classes.
Important Notice:
Payments are due upon receipt of bill, or by June 1, 2009 for Summer I and Summer III, by July 1, 2009 for Summer II, and by August 1, 2009 for the Fall semester. Failure to make appropriate payment by due date will result in a $220.00 late fee.
