Is there a placement test?

No, there is no placement tests for admissions but student may be asked to take a placement test in the Math and Writing areas  for course selection.

Can I start my program at anytime?

Students can begin their course of study during any of our five academic periods, being Fall, Spring, or one of three summer semesters.

Can I continue my degree while at sea?

Yes, many students undertake the University's online courses while at sea.

Does Roger Williams University accept credits from foreign institutions?

Yes, but not all, please contact your academic advisor with questions relating to credits from foreign institutions.

What happens if I don't receive my grades in the mail?

Contact your advisor first.  If your address has changed from what is in the RWU files, you will need to fill out a change of address form so you will receive your RWU mail, including your grades. You should then contact the RWU Registrar’s office (your advisor can provide you the contact person) as you will need to request your grades personally by phone/email or in person.
