Math Requirement:  No specific major requirement. Students in these majors are required to take one math course, at any time during their college career, to satisfy the RWU Core Curriculum requirement for mathematics.

Course Prerequisites:  Varies, based on the prerequisites of the course that the student selects.

Math Testing Requirement: No testing is required.

Note:  Students in these majors typically take MATH.110 Math in the Modern World or MATH.124 Basic Statistics.  Neither of these courses has a prerequisite.  No math testing is required to take these courses.

The outlines for these majors do not require their students to take a math course during the first semester of their freshman year. Thus, their fall semester schedule may not include a math course. At Orientation, all students are given an opportunity to speak with their Dean, members of their faculty, and a math advisor.
