Majors

Accounting,  Computer Information Services, Economics, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, Security Assurance Studies, Undeclared Business.

Math Requirement:  Business majors are required to complete a two-semester math sequence.  For the first semester, they may take either MATH.120 (Quantitative Business Analysis with Algebra (QBA IA), MATH.121 Quantitative Business Analysis (QBA I) or MATH.207, Applied Calculus. For the second semester, they may take MATH.122 Quantitative Business Analysis II (QBA II) or any other statistics course.

Course Prerequisites:  MATH.120 has no prerequisites.  MATH.121 has the prerequisites of an SATM score of 550 or higher OR an appropriate test score on the RWU Math Placement Test.  MATH.207 has a prerequisite of appropriate test scores on the RWU Math Placement Test.

Math Testing Requirement:  All students in these majors are required to take the RWU Math Placement Test.

Note:  Students in these majors are expected to start their math sequence during the first semester of their freshman year.  Thus, based on their placement test results, these students will be pre-registered for either MATH.120, MATH.121, or MATH.207 before they come to Orientation.  After successful completion of this first course, they will take MATH.122 during the spring semester of their freshman year.
