RWU Placement Information
RWU has placement guidelines to determine the appropriate entry-level course for new students taking courses in the areas of chemistry, foreign language, mathematics and writing. Some of these guidelines are based on SAT scores and some are based on the results of placement tests that new students take on-line before coming to summer orientation.
Placement Testing
RWU offers placement tests for students entering courses in chemistry, foreign language and mathematics. This testing is required for some majors and recommended for others. If testing is neither required nor recommended for a specific major, students in that major may test, if they wish to continue their high school studies at the college level.
