Research Interests

Dr. DiCataldo has published research in the areas of violence risk and its relation to symptoms of psychopathology, the epidemiology of mental disorders in correctional settings and juvenile homicide. He maintains an active research program with ongoing research projects on juvenile sexual offenders, girls and delinquency, the assessment of risk among juvenile offenders, the disproportionate contact of minority youth in juvenile justice and the history of systems of thought about juvenile delinquency.
