Feinstein College Of Arts & Sciences

The Feinstein College of Arts and Sciences provides you with a well-rounded education in the true liberal arts tradition.

Offering 19 exciting majors in the arts, humanities, and social and natural sciences, the College will teach you to question, reason, and communicate - skills that are in high demand in today's workplace. Through your major studies, the University Core Curriculum, and an impressive selection of electives, you'll discover how your life and work are impacted by academic influences.

We'll provide you with the tools and facilities you'll need to make the most of your studies:

  • The Center for Economic and Environmental Development houses the science and mathematics programs. Here in this waterside complex, you'll have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, including an open seawater lab ideal for studying marine life.

  • If you're a performing arts enthusiast, you'll feel right at home in our Performing Arts Center. Known affectionately as "The Barn," the facility contains a professional-quality stage and several other performance areas, as well as costume, makeup, and scenery rooms.

You'll also be able to take advantage of the many programs and resources that are available outside the classroom:

  • Intern in a Washington D.C. think-tank at the Institute for Experiential Learning
  • Meet well-known authors as they read and discuss their work in the Visiting Writers Series
  • Attend dramatic and musical theater performances during a trip to London's famous West End
  • Spend a semester studying and sailing the Atlantic with the SEA Semester Program

Throughout your studies, you'll be supported by a committed and dedicated faculty. There are no teaching assistants at Roger Williams. You'll work directly with your instructors and advisors to define and meet your educational and professional goals.

Whether your post-graduation plans include a new career or further study, the Feinstein College of Arts and Sciences will set you on the path to becoming a responsible and well-rounded citizen of the world.
