Veteran Services

Beginning Friday, May 1, 2015 at noon, the RWU Colleague system will be unavailable for a short time due to system upgrades. This will mean that you will not be able to register online, access your grades, request transcripts, etc. until the system is reactivated. We anticipate that the Colleague system will be available again by May 11, 2015. We will notify you when the system upgrade is complete and access is restored.

Please submit all requests to and they will be processed based upon the date of receipt.

To ensure that you are enrolled in the Summer and Fall course(s) of your choice, you are encouraged to register online for courses prior to May 1st. Students who cannot register by May 1st can take advantage of the following options:

  1. Contact your academic advisor who will complete the Summer and/or Fall registration form(s) on your behalf and document your request so SCS can manually enroll you in the course(s). Students who have questions regarding their assigned advisor can contact Mary Cooney at 401-254-4805 or
  2. Register online when the system upgrade is complete and access is restored.


RWU School of Continuing Studies offers a free 12-week, non-credit Veteran’s Gateway to College and Career Success program to all veterans and their spouses. This program is possible through collaboration with Operation Stand Down RI, The RI Department of Veteran Affairs, the VA Medical Center, the OIF/OEF Coordinator and Vet Success.  For more information please contact us at or by phone at (401) 254-3530.

Student Military & Veterans Organization

Led by one of our current students, a full-time recruiter for the National Guard, the School of Continuing Studies is in the process of forming an SVO on the Providence campus.  The SCS SVO will hold regular meetings, study sessions and events geared towards military students and their families.  All SCS students as well as students enrolled in the Veterans¹ Gateway to College and Career Success program will be invited and encouraged to attend.
