Dr. Janet Baldwin is a Registered Professional Engineer in Environmental Engineering. She is currently a Professor of Engineering at Roger Williams University, specializing in drinking water supply and treatment. Her research interest is in sustainable water resource practices which involve development of innovative wastewater reuse systems, using computer modeling and analysis. She has taken her expertise to the field by traveling to a remote area of Brazil to design and build rainfall catchment systems. In the classroom, Dr. Baldwin teaches all areas of civil and environmental engineering. In addition to teaching, she was recently appointed by the Governor to the Rhode Island State Board of Board of Certification of Operators of Wastewater Treatment Facilities.
