Welcome to the School of Continuing Studies at Roger Williams University.

Our students earn degrees with great meaning to themselves and to the marketplace. They benefit from our five decades of leadership in granting credit for experience gained outside of the classroom. And, they know that we fully recognize their prior studies through a robust credit-transfer policy, accepting up to 90 total credits from other accredited institutions, College Level Examination Program testing and from military, work and life experience.

Our innovative programs respond to the demands facing adult learners. Flexible course options include in-person, online, blended and accelerated courses, all within an accredited, high-quality framework. More than 1,000 continuing education and professional development students are currently enrolled in our programs. And, we have developed more than 80 innovative online courses to serve 800 students across the world.

Beginning with your first contact with the School of Continuing Studies, you will find a team of individuals committed to your success—with support staff who assist in the application process, advisors who will help chart your degree plan and course of study and talented faculty who will ensure you have the skills and knowledge you seek.
