Historic Preservation Endowed Events Series

A generous anonymous gift supports Historic Preservation Events at the School, complemented by additional support from the Felicia Fund, the Newport Restoration Foundation, the Amica Foundation, and individual donors. Currently, the Historic Preservation Endowed Events Fund supports a lecture each semester in the SAAHP Public Events Series, which in recent years have included Scott Simpson, FAIA of Kling Stubbins, Boston, Jean Carroon, FAIA of Goody Clancy Boston, Gustavo Arroz, AIA of US/ICOMOS, and others. Funds have been used to support the School’s International Fellows Program Summer Conference, RWU’s hosting of the Vernacular Architecture Forum, and scholars-in-residence.

Mutual Influence Endowed Resource Series

The school’s faculty and students engage each semester in an evening lecture open to all faculty and students, and a lunchtime faculty discussion series, where faculty share work-in-progress and recent achievements. The series is made possible by an endowment established by Ganteaume and McMullen Architects.
