Roger Williams University is home to 20 computer labs, the University Library, School of Law Library, and Architecture Library. Our integrated systems allow students to search for articles, periodicals and books not only at our own libraries, but those of the Higher Education Library Information Network which includes Brown University, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College and Wheaton College, just to name a few.

Students at the university libraryThe Roger Williams University Library is the institution’s academic and intellectual center. Open 112 hours a week with a book collection that exceeds 230,000 volumes along with 2,700 print periodicals and more than 33,000 online titles.

Law Library

Students looking at a book.The 35,000-square-foot Law Library houses approximately 300,000 volumes in print and microform and 3,500 serial titles. Holdings include federal and state reports, statutes and sessions law from all 50 states as well as Supreme Court records and briefs and government documents.

Architecture Library

Photo of the RWU Architecture BuildingOpen 91 hours a week with more than 24,000 books, 60,000 slides, a digital collection of more than 80,000 images and subscriptions to more than 200 periodicals and journals. The library also houses what is considered the best historic preservation collection in New England.
