Admissions Information

Incoming students with a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale are invited to apply for admission to our Honors Program community.  The provision of  SAT or ACT test scores  is optional.

Designed for outstanding students at the University, the program is also open to currently enrolled or transfer students who have earned no more than 30 credits toward graduation, and who have attained a 3.5 GPA or better in their undergraduate work to date.

The program fosters three central characteristics among its participants: scholarship, service and leadership. Working closely with the Honors faculty and program administrators, students develop an interdisciplinary course of study that prepares them for a challenging and rewarding senior thesis. Honors students have earned distinction as leaders in student government, athletics and in a variety of activities and organizations.
