The Technology Leadership & Management Major
This program is designed for people with technical and/or managerial backgrounds who are employed in manufacturing, service, or technology-related industries or those individuals seeking careers in such industries. The program will provide students with a foundation of leadership, strategic, and technology management skills. Additionally, the innovative Technology Leadership & Management Program is flexible (22 free electives) which allows students an opportunity to focus in a specific industry such as technology management, manufacturing, healthcare, environment and safety, or public administration.
Degree Requirements
Aside from other requirements for the baccalaureate degree, students pursuing the industrial technology program must complete the general education requirements, the following 8 courses, and sufficient electives to total 120 credits.

IT 430 Special Topics (Ethics in Science & Technology)

IT 455 Production Planning
IT 472 Senior Seminar

Elective
Note: Admission to the Industrial Technology concentration within the Bachelor of General Studies degree is limited to students who are at least 21 years of age and who have not been enrolled at RWU as a full-time student within the prior academic year. At least 50% of the courses in this concentration must be completed at RWU and at least 50% must be at the 300-level or above.
