About
Mission Statement
Vision

To develop a nationally recognized model for excellence in international and intercultural education programming that will, through its curricular and co-curricular programs, reflect RWU’s dedicated commitment to prepare students to be compassionate, productive, ethical lifelong learners who contribute interdependently to a global society.

Mission

To strengthen liberal arts and professional school education by engaging students and faculty with global learning. The CGIP commits itself to work closely with all members of the RWU campus community to develop and facilitate educational programming activities, at home and abroad, that will equip students from all disciplines with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to think critically, pursue truth and succeed in a world marked by interdependence, diversity and rapid change.

To accomplish this mission, the CGIP has identified three major developmental programming tracks:

  • Study Abroad
  • International Student Programs and Services
  • “World-learning” Initiatives

Whatever your query or interest may be, the Center for Global and International Programs has a qualified, professional staff that is ready to assist you. We are located in the lower floor of the Student Union Building and our office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
